Sustainable production
TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers are produced in an environmentally friendly and closed cycle in which eucalyptus wood is converted into cellulose fibers with high resource efficiency and low environmental impact. This solvent spinning process recycles the process water and reuses the solvent with a recovery rate of more than 99%. You can rest assured that your purchasing decisions will not impact the environment.
Made in Austria
TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers are manufactured in specialized production sites in Austria. Garments made from TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers are certified with the EU Ecolabel for textile products (license no. AT/016/001) and meet high environmental standards throughout their life cycle (raw material extraction, production, distribution and disposal).
FSC® Certification:
TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers are made from sustainable sources harvested from FSC & PEFC (certified and controlled wood) in a closed production cycle.
OEKO-TEX® Certification
The STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certification confirms that TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers have been tested for regulated and non-regulated harmful substances and are therefore harmless to your health.
Transparent supply chain
With the fiber identification technology, TENCEL™ fibers can be verified through tests in the end product and along the value chain. This identification method complements the transparency and traceability in the supply chain and ensures the authenticity of your TENCEL™ fibers.
